Bible Class (Parlor)- Christians in a Secular World.
What does it mean to be a Christian in a world that no longer needs God? The church in changing. Or is it declining? Or maybe even dying? Come join Pastor Henry as we together explore what it means to be Christian in a Secular Age. We will be listening to podcasts featuring Dr. Andrew Root of Luther seminary in preparation for his visit in March. You can find the podcasts at https://www.newtimereligion.org.
Single s Together in Christ (Room 102) - Putting Hope in the Coming of Jesus- A Study of 2 Thessalonians.
Welcome all singles! The Single's Ministry is a diverse group that welcomes adults who are single at any stage of their lives. Although as a group, we may have differences, we are all in a season of singleness, whether it be for another year or for the rest of our lives. God has given each of us the gift of singleness. With this gift, it is up to us to accept it and unwrap it in order to realize the fruits of this gift in fullness and the meaning and purpose that God has for us at this time in our lives. This class is facilitated by Karen Alicia Shaw. Meeting Dates: February 2- March 8, 2020
